Meet Our Staff
Dr. Jose C. Flores, D.O.
Dr.
Flores has been in private practice since 1989. He graduated from
Albright College where he received a BS in Biology, then attended
medical school at University of Medicine and Dentistry- School of
Osteopathic Medicine. Post graduate programs included an internship at
Atlantic City Medical Center. He completed his residency in family
medicine at Mountainside Family Practice Associates, Verona, NJ in 1992,
then immediately followed with a fellowship in Sports Medicine at
Pascack Valley Hospital. He has been board certified in family medicine
since 1992.
Hospital affiliation is Mountainside Hospital where he has been serving as Vice-chair of the department of Family Medicine for many years. His primary goal is to provide quality medical care to the entire family regardless of age. He is fluent in Spanish. He has a particular interest in student and resident teaching. He is a faculty member at Moutainside Family Practice Associates in Verona, NJ where he has been precepting residents since 1992. He is also a Clinical Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at UMDNJ- New Jersey Medical School. His professional interests include, Sports Medicine, urgent care and occupational medicine. He has been the Montclair Kimberley Academy school physician since 1999.
Dr. Flores is married, has 3 children and resides in Verona, NJ. When not working he prefers to spend time with his family. Past times include coaching travel soccer, playing organized soccer and softball, skiing with his children and friends. He has been ranked Top Doc by NJ Monthly magazine multiple times including 2010.
Dr. Michele Nitti, D.O.
Dr. Michele Nitti has been practicing as a family physician for 20
years. She spends the majority of her time at Montclair Family Practice
treating patients of all ages. For the last 16 years or so, she has
spent three mornings a week working with Franklin Pediatrics, a large
pediatric practice in Morris county. Her favorite part of family
medicine is being able to see and treat many generations of the same
family.
She received her B.S. degree with honors from Muhlenberg College and her medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ - School of Osteopathic Medicine. Her Residency in Family Practice was completed at Mountainside Hospital and she is Board Certified by the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Hospital affiliations include Mountainside Hospital (for adult patients), and Morristown Memorial for any pedicatric in-house admissions. Dr. Nitti was elected and served on the Medical Board of Mountainside Hospital from 2006-2009.
Dr. Nitti is married and has 3 children, Ellie, Erin and Emily. When she isn't working, she enjoys spending time with her family, including their chocolate lab, Maggie.
Jennifer Miscia
Jennifer
Miscia is a graduate of Mountainside Hospital School of Nursing and has
been with Montclair Family Practice since opening in March of 1997.
Jennifer will prepare you for your visit with Dr. Flores and Dr. Nitti
and will answer any questions you may have. She will administer
treatments, vaccines and perform venipuncture for physician ordered
tests.
Many offices are now hiring medical assistants to cut costs. Montclair Family Practice understands the level of care is much higher by maintaining a registered nurse in their practice. Jennifer also oversees the billing and administrative practices of the office. She currently lives with her husband and three children in nearby Wayne.
Michelle
Our Clinical Coordinator, Michelle, has been with Montclair Family Practice for nine years. She helps to keep the schedule organized and is available to assist with any questions you may have.
Paige
Our Billing Coordinator, Paige, has been with Montclair Family Practice for eight years. We use an in-house sophisticated co-pay billing system, but she will be able to help you with any questions or concerns regarding your account. Paige will also assist with referrals for other practioners.
